Builder Bio

Founders of EDK Design-Build (EDK), Elmer Dixon and Eric Kidd, think of a home as an expression of its owner’s creative side and how the owner goes about life. To be successful at delivering a finished product that lives up to these words, EDK realizes that they must first understand the desires and goals of the owner.

“Connecting and listening to the client is key to capture the essence of their vision”, Eric Kidd. “We build a relationship before we build your house”, Elmer Dixon. EDK believes that once the relationship is built, they are able to understand the desires of the client and in turn design and build a dream home that exceeds all expectations.

Elmer and Eric’s 75+ years of experience include executive level home building, home renovations and additions. Elmer’s primary role includes client development and managing the administrative side of the business. Eric’s primary role includes field operations and client interactions. EDK’s unified home building knowledge and wisdom has proven time and again to be a winning combination. From design to completion Elmer and Eric are personally involved, giving the client assurance of direct interactions with the company owners during every step of the building process.
